Wari chora is located in South Garo hills district of Meghalaya. According to local myths , Wari Chora is called as home of the seven giant serpents which is recently discovered located in South Garo hills district of Meghalaya. This beautiful canyon is 45 ft deep and 500 metre long trail of deep ravine.
How to reach Wari chora:
The distance between shillong to South Garo Hills by road is 280 km (if you want go from Shillong via NH106 road). And 271 km from Guwahati (if you go from Guwahati via NH17 road). To reach this place you will need to take a off-road bike or 4×4 off-road vehicle .But I think the best option for you to visit this place with tour package. The best time to visit Wari chora is from last month of October to February. Because during this month there is no rain. This is very important,else you won’t be able to see the clear blue water.
