❖   Satpura National Park

This enormous region of forest in Madhya Pradesh is home to several animals such as Spotted Deer, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Blackbucks, Antelopes, and so on. A wildlife safari here in the months of October, November, and May would be a rewarding experience for a price of Rs. 2750-6500 per person.

❖   Sasan-Gir Wildlife Sanctuary

This wildlife reserve in Gujarat is India’s only refuge for Asian lions. Leopards, jackals, and Indian foxes can also be found here. A jungle safari in December will be the most thrilling experience on an Rs. 4500 budget.

❖   Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park, located in the scenic valleys of Assam, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the one-horned rhinoceros. If you’re considering a trip here, a jungle safari between November and April is the best time to go at a cost of Rs.3,800.

❖   Sundarbans National Park

Many species live in this 4000 sq km of marshy swampland in west Bengal, including Royal Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Cats, Macaques, wild boars, and others. The most ideal month to schedule a wildlife safari in this area is probably April.
